Welcome to Manchester-Nashua in the Merrimack Valley
In New Hampshire, the Merrimack Valley Region is an area of south-central portion of the state, approximately 35 miles (56 km) wide, centered on the Merrimack River and running from Canterbury south to the Massachusetts border. Henniker marks the western extent, and Nottingham the east. It includes portions of Hillsborough, Rockingham and Merrimack counties, and serves as home to the state’s three largest cities:

Making up more than 20 percent of the state’s population, the three cities of the Merrimack Valley serve as the hub for culture for the state, and a strategic opportunity for reaching the nations.
